Learn more about your customer. Your sales will probably increase during the holidays. Take the time to learn more about your ideal customer by including a survey with all purchases. You can send a link to the survey in an email, post about it on social, or include a link within your packaging. Email your list. Yes, you can bump up the email frequency a little bit during the month of December. And did you know there’s more to holiday marketing than Black Friday, Cyber Monday, pre-Christmas, and Christmas? There’s also Green Monday and Super Saturday! Make each holiday your own with a strategic, on-brand way to promote. It’s all here.
Offer up a few new offers. Without being cheesy or sales-y, take a good look at your site. Is there anywhere else you can add a CTA or a pop-up with a solid offer? Just make sure your offers are relevant, feel right to you and your brand, and aren’t consistently appearing on every single page.
Look into gift guides and collabs. The holidays are a great time to partner up. Check out your favorite publications or influencers in your field for collabs and/or gift guides.
Play customer. This may be last but this is the most important holiday marketing tip! Visit your site with fresh eyes and “play customer.” That’s right. Re-read, act like it’ all new, and test buttons/links. I can guarantee you might find a few kinks you weren’t aware of that’ll save you the sale!
